  1. About These Terms
    These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the
    websites, online storefronts, listings, and related services (collectively, the
    “Services”) operated under the Nectar & Thorne brand (“Nectar & Thorne,” “we,”
    “us,” or “our”).
    By purchasing from, browsing, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be
    bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
  2.  Eligibility
    You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to
    purchase from the Services. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that
    you meet this requirement.
  3.  Product Information; No Medical Advice
    We strive to describe products accurately. However, product descriptions,
    ingredients, and statements are not guaranteed to be complete, current, or errorfree.
    No medical advice. Our offerings—including oils, herb-based products, candles,
    ritual products, art pieces, and related goods—are offered for personal care, ritual, decorative, and/or general wellness purposes only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and you should not rely on product information as a substitute for professional medical advice.
    Individual results vary. Any references to “manifestation,” “ritual,” “energetic,”
    “holistic,” or similar concepts describe intended use and aesthetic/experiential
    qualities and do not constitute medical claims.
  4.  Safety; Patch Testing; Proper Use
    You are solely responsible for using products safely and as directed.
    Patch test: Always perform a patch test before topical use.
    Avoid sensitive areas: Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
    Discontinue if irritation occurs: Stop use and seek professional guidance if
    you experience irritation, adverse reaction, or other concerns.
    Allergens: Natural and botanical ingredients may cause allergic reactions.
    Review ingredient information where provided.
  5.  Ingredients, Small-Batch Production, and Shelf Life
    Some products are produced in small batches and may be preservative-free.
    Shelf life: Oils and herb-based products generally have a shelf life of
    approximately 6–9 months from the date of purchase, subject to storage
    conditions.
    Storage: Store in a cool, dark place and follow any product label instructions.
    Shelf life may vary based on the specific formulation, storage, environmental
    conditions, and handling.
  6.  Candles, Wax, and Fire Safety
    Candle and wax products require careful supervision.
    Trim wicks to approximately 1/4 inch prior to lighting.
    Never leave a burning candle unattended.
    Keep away from flammable materials, drafts, children, and pets.
    Botanicals, crystals, and decorative inclusions may affect burn behavior;
    monitor closely.
    You assume all responsibility for safe use.
  7.  Shadow Boxes, Bones, and Ethical Sourcing
    Certain art pieces may include real animal bones and/or natural remains.
    Ethical sourcing: No animals are harmed for the purpose of creating these
    pieces. Remains are ethically sourced (e.g., found in nature or salvaged).
    Processing: Specimens are cleaned and processed in-house to support
    sanitary handling and preservation.
    Care Instructions
    Sunlight: Keep shadow boxes and bone art out of direct sunlight to reduce
    brittleness, discoloration, or yellowing over time.
    Cleaning: Dust glass/wood with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemical
    cleaners on frames.
  8.  Choking Hazard; Child and Pet Safety
    Some products may contain small parts (e.g., crystals, charms, decorative
    inclusions) that present a choking or ingestion hazard.
    Keep all products away from children and pets. You are solely responsible for safe
    storage and use.
  9.  Orders, Pricing, and Payment
    Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. Taxes, shipping, and
    any platform fees (if applicable) may be added at checkout or by the selling
    platform.
    We reserve the right to correct errors and to refuse, cancel, or limit orders,
    including after an order is submitted.
    If an order is canceled after payment, we will issue a refund in accordance with
    the applicable storefront or platform policy. 
  10.  Shipping, Delivery, and Risk of Loss
    Shipping timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
    Unless otherwise required by applicable law, risk of loss and title pass to you upon
    transfer to the carrier.
  11.  Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
    Returns, refunds, and exchange eligibility varies by product type and by the
    selling channel.
    The controlling policy may be:
    the policy displayed on the relevant storefront/listing at the time of purchase;
    and/or
    the marketplace/platform policy (e.g., Etsy).
    Where permitted, you must contact us within the timeframe stated in the listing or
    platform policy.

    By providing your email address or phone number and agreeing to receive marketing communications from Nectar & Thorne Co., you consent to receive promotional emails, SMS/text messages, and related marketing updates from us. These messages may include product updates, promotions, restock notices, abandoned cart reminders, early access announcements, and other shop-related communications.
    Consent to receive marketing emails or SMS messages is not required to make a purchase. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in our emails. You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP.   13. Intellectual Property
    All content associated with the Services—such as text, photographs, graphics,
    logos, product names, and designs—is owned by or licensed to Nectar & Thorne
    and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
    You may not use, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our
    content without prior written permission, except as allowed by law.
  14. User Content (If Applicable)
    If you submit reviews, photos, or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive,
    worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display that content in
    connection with the Services and marketing, subject to platform rules and
    applicable law. 
  15. Disclaimer of Warranties
    To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services and products are provided
    “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose,
    and non-infringement.
    Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties; in that case,
    exclusions apply to the fullest extent permitted.
  16. Limitation of Liability
    To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nectar & Thorne will not be liable for any
    indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of
    profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the
    Services or products.
    To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim will not
    exceed the amount you paid for the product(s) giving rise to the claim.
    Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability; in that case,
    limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted.
  17. Indemnification
    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nectar & Thorne from and against
    claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’
    fees) arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms or misuse of the
    Services/products.
  18. Governing Law
    These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Nectar &
    Thorne operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise
    required by applicable consumer protection laws.

    We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be
    effective as of the “Last updated” date below. Your continued use of the Services
    after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
